Well done to all pupils from first to sixth classes who took part in our local St. Patrick’s Day parade in Thurles.
A fantastic day was had by all our ‘blue’ pupils at our recent Water Awareness Day. We completed lots of water saving experiments, a water themed table quiz and we also had a visit from our local water expert Eugene Shortt.
Third and fourth class recently investigated two of our local streams – checking for pollution levels, measuring the depth, width and flow rate of the river as well as investigating evidence of erosion and deposition.
