Third and fourth class recently investigated two of our local streams – checking for pollution levels, measuring the depth, width and flow rate of the river as well as investigating evidence of erosion and deposition.
Well done to the chefs in fifth and sixth class who fed us all with their perfect pancakes!!!
Four members of our Green Schools Committee recently attented a Water Awareness Forum in Roscrea where they picked up the prize for most enthuastic school. Well Done!!!

Second and third class recently celebrated the Chinese New Year during their art class.
Our nativity and carol singing night took place on December 18th in Upperchurch hall. A great night’s entertainment was had by all. Well done to all the pupils.
Congratulations to Keith, Darragh, Michéal and Luke who won the Mid Tipp Gaa Quiz on Sunday Night and to James, Patrtick, AJ, and Canice who came third. Best of luck to both teams in the county final next weekend .
During the week we had an engineer visit our school looking for help to measure distances in the village and to help draw a map of the village to scale.
Our 2nd & 3rd class recently paid a visit to our local mill as part of our history lesson this week.
